Home Audio Visual Ministry at Troy First
Among the most important things that occur at church on a weekly basis is communicating. The Audio Visual Ministry exists to ensure that the preaching and worship is delivered to the congregation as effectively as possible. At Troy First we believe in excellence and creativity, yet without making the elements of our service so extravagant and overly complicated that it becomes a distraction.
There are two primary areas of the A/V Ministry:
Sound & Audio
These volunteers are primarily responsible for making Pastor Richie and our worship leaders sound good on Sundays. This means helping to set up our sound system on Saturday evenings, performing a sound check with the band and choir on Sunday mornings around 7 am, and operating the audio console in all three morning worship services. Other responsibilities include running sound for our evening services and special events.
Visual & Presentation
The primary role is to operate our lighting, projectors, presentation software, and videos in Sunday morning services. This means being present to help set up any presentations as well as perform a run-through with the worship team Sundays at 7 am.
